Dozens of giant eggs are thought to belong to dinosaurs found around a development project Heyuan City, Guangdong Province, South China.
According to the Xinhua news agency quoted Al Arabiya, Thursday, April 23, 2025, of 43 eggs were found, 19 of which are still intact.
"It is not yet known what kind of dinosaur eggs," said Du Yanli, archaeologists as well as curator of a local museum.
"The eggs of large size. But there is one very large with a diameter of 13 cm," said Du.
All the eggs, which were found earlier Sunday, was sent to the museum for preservation and further research.
Nearly 17,000 dinosaur eggs have been found in Heyuan city since 1996.
Heyuan Museum managed to break the Guinness Book of World Records with a collection of fossilized dinosaur eggs as many as 10 008 grain, which is the highest in the world.
According to the Guinness website, all of the eggs came from the late Cretaceous period (89-65 million years ago).
