According to statistics released by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Dubai (IACAD), more than 500 people to Islam during the first quarter of 2015. If averaged every month nearly 200 people convert to Islam.
"Most of these Muslims learn about Islam through friends, books, visited Islamic centers, or as fascinated by the Azan and good service during the stay in the United Arab Emirates," said Yusra Al Gaood, head of Religious Guidance in IACAD quoted Dream of the page Emirates 24/7, Thursday, March 16, 2015.
IACAD organizes information programs Islam and interfaith dialogue activities in public places such as shopping malls and community centers.
During the quarter (three months) first, IACAD perform various activities in the Mohammed bin Rashid Islamic Culture Centre in Al Barsha and Mohammed Bin Zayed Family Gathering in Al Khawaneej 1, which was attended by both Muslims and non-Muslims.
One program entitled 'Duaa Team', which was held at the Mohammed Bin Zayed Family Gathering, attended by more than 6,000 people.
IACAD also organizes an annual campaign, "If You Know Him, You'll Love Him ', which refers to the Prophet Muhammad.
The campaign also includes a visit to the hospital, the activities in malls, community centers, and other public places.
The campaign is organized in Tamil language to non-Muslims in Al Baraha Hospital, and contests for non-Muslims in the Reef Mall.
Meanwhile, the Chinese delegation recently visited the Mohammed bin Rashid Islamic Culture Centre in Al Barsha to discuss ways of cooperation in the future.
