Would anxiety divinity theory, Deliver Green converts to Islam


Green could not accept the logic of the concept of God that he got in school.

Hidayah can arise anytime and anywhere. No exception when someone anxious when trying to answer questions about the concept of God.

That is what is experienced by Abdur Raheem Green. The man who has become ust have had a long history of how he came to embrace Islam.

His name is Anthony Vatswaf original Galvin Green. It has been renamed when it decided to embrace Islam.

Born in Dar As-Salam, Tanzania, Green was the son of a British colonial officials. While still small Green put a religious school in Bologna. After graduating, Green returned to the study of religion in religious school in Yorkshire, northern England.

But inside the Green haunting questions about the teaching concept embraced by his mother. He is also at odds with the doctrine of confession. According to him, it is a strange doctrine and nothing more than a vast conspiracy to control others.

At the age of 11 years, Green's father was given the job as manager of Barclays Bank in Cairo, Egypt. Since it until 10 years later, Egypt became a Green spent the school holidays though still in school in England.

Green enjoyed his holiday in Egypt. But he was always uneasy with some spiritual questions when returning to the UK.

For Green, the questions posed to him, the young man seemed like a boxing Mike Tyson who landed on his face. Green felt he had been foolish and deceived. His heart was never quiet.

Green against his religious beliefs eroded. Green wander looking for other religions, but he encountered nothing to calm her anxiety.

Green also was thought to no longer care about religion. Who is on his mind just wants to live as happy as possible.

"At that time I thought maybe life is no meaning, there is nothing more important in life than to be rich," he recalls.

But he did not have much money, so it must work hard to get it. Green see countries that were easy for moneymaking. Starting from the UK, USA, Japan, to Saudi Arabia, which is also one of the rich countries.

When I think of Saudi Arabia, Green interested in the way Arabs get abundant money. They just need to say 'Allahu Akbar' on the camel and the money flowed. At that time, Green was intrigued with the Arabs, 'there must be something there'.

Green started thinking about what religions and their holy books. He remembered the Koran, then he thought 'his book Arabs ". Green then buy a copy of the Qur'an and read it while riding the train that crosses the River Thames towards Victoria Station.

"I very clearly remember I was sitting in the train near the window and read the translation of the Koran."

At that time, Green read the Koran not to seek answers to his spiritual restlessness, but just wanted to know its contents. Green just curious about the contents of the Koran.

Not just the understanding that he could, Green actually got the peace of mind of each sheet of the translation of the Qur'an. Thirst for answers and curiosity that had been hanging in his heart slowly began missed word for word in a passage from the Koran.

"I looked out the window for a moment, then read it again. If in this world there is a book written by God, then this is it," he recalls.

A few days later, Green went to a bookstore that is part of a mosque. When looking at the books about the Prophet Muhammad and prayers, Green approached the shopkeeper. Incidentally that was a Friday.

"Sorry, you are a Muslim ?," asked the guard. Green replied, "Look, I believe there is only one God that Allah and Muhammad is His messenger."

"Then you're a Muslim," the guard said again. Green simply replied, "Thank you".

The clerk then said to Green that it was time to perform the Friday prayers. Green was invited to Friday prayers although he himself has not know anything. But Green still go wrong even though many movements.


But Friday has become a new history for the spiritual life Green. In the presence of other worshipers, Green finally shahadah..
